The opportunity offers the selected individual to make a major impact in the operations and industry, as Cherokee seeks an individual looking to be an expert in the role, and a mentor for future generations of equipment technicians.

About Cherokee Town and Country Club:

Chartered in 1956, Cherokee Town and Country Club is recognized as one of America's premier private clubs. Located in the Atlanta metro area, the club has two locations: the Town Club, which occupies the famed Grant Estate on West Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead, and the Country Club, which is located near the Chattahoochee River in Sandy Springs.

The membership enjoys world-class amenities, including golf, dining, paddle sports, fitness, and aquatics. The excellence of these facilities, combined with a commitment to the highest standards in member services, has brought the club an extraordinary number of honors and awards throughout the years.

The Country Club has 36 holes of championship golf and 15 acres of practice facilities. Practice facilities include a double-sided driving range, a three-green short game facility, and a dedicated chipping green. The greens on both courses are Champion Ultradwarf, approaches and collection areas are Tifgrand Hybrid Bermudagrass, fairways are Tifway Hybrid Bermudagrass, and the tees are a mixture of Zeon Zoysia and Tifway.

Over its long history, Cherokee has hosted some of the top amateur golf events, most recently the 100th playing of the Georgia Amateur Championship in 2021. The Club has recently secured the services of golf course architect Andrew Green, one of the most respected and sought-after architects, to create a Golf Course Master Plan for the entire property. The Golf Course Maintenance team operates out of a state-of-the-art turf care facility built in 2000.
