Golf Course Superintendent Position
JOB DESCRIPTION: Directs and Participates in the daily maintenance of the golf course and property. Delegates work assignments and special projects while continually assessing golf course conditions.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Paul Harney Golf Course is an 18 hole, Executive golf course (par 60) and Practice range with a reputation of immaculate conditions and friendly staff. We are located in Falmouth, MA. on beautiful Cape Cod.
Educational Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Turfgrass Management Certificate or Degree.
Massachusetts Pesticide Applicators License.
Massachusetts Hydraulic Operator’s License.
Previous Golf Course Superintendent/First Assistant experience.
Experience Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Program/Monitor and repair irrigation system to ensure efficient water management of golf course.
· Hiring/training/motivating and managing golf course maintenance employees.
· Team with General Manager/Owner on the planning and management of the golf course maintenance budget.
· Turfgrass management: Calibration and application of turfgrass nutrients and pest controls.
· Mechanical ability: Experience in the use, maintenance and repair of all relevant tools and equipment.
· The Superintendent will be a working Superintendent on course, training staff on all aspects maintaining and improving golf course conditions.

Job Benefits
Starting salary commensurate with experience. $65,000-$75,000. Golfing privileges. 2-Weeks vacation/One week sick pay. Health Insurance 50%/50%.
