Assistant-in-Training
The Assistant-in-Training position will play a key role in the management team. We are looking for someone that is passionate about the golf course maintenance industry. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, reliable, eager to learn, excited to lead and motivate staff, and help cultivate a work atmosphere that is positive.
The Assistant-in-Training position will perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; do semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work; operate small hand-powered equipment; perform spray and granular chemical applications on greens, tees, fairways, and roughs; and occasionally perform work involving large equipment. Because CHCC is open seven days a week, you may be scheduled to work holidays and weekends.
Educational Requirements
2 Year Degree in Turf Management, Certificate or enrolled in Turfgrass Management or Higher.
Experience Requirements
Experienced preferred, but willing to work with someone who is willing to learn about the industry and to take the next step in their turfgrass career.
Special Requirements
- Uptain Spray License Withing 90 Days Of Hire
