Equipment/Shop Manager
Hayfields Country Club was built in 1998, stretches over 7,000 yards, and has hosted six PGA champions Tour Events that challenged famed golfers such as Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Gary McCord and more. Hayfields is a links style golf course featuring bentgrass greens and fairways coupled with bermuda grass tees. We have six ponds and native areas that line numerous holes on a picturesque and historical property dating back to the civil war.
Educational Requirements
High School diploma. College education, trade school, or advanced certifications preferred
Experience Requirements
Candidate must have a mechanical background with years of experience in electrical, gasoline and diesel engines, utility/golf cart repair, commercial turf equipment repair. Welding and metal fabrication a plus, knowledge of reel grinding, set-up and performance preferred.
Special Requirements
Must have working knowledge of light and heavy turf maintenance equipment and automotive vehicles. Ability to maintain a preventative maintenance program on all equipment, purchase repair/replacement parts, must have reel grinding, adjusting and performance knowledge. Must have the ability to work with a PO (purchase order) system and work within a monthly and yearly budget. Must maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop. Must have your own tools
