Golf Course Superintendent

The Golf Course Superintendent, reporting directly to the Director of Grounds, plays a pivotal role in maintaining the superior quality at Kestrel Ridge.  This hands-on position oversees and actively participates in the maintenance of tees, greens, fairways, rough, waterways, and cart paths. Additionally, the Superintendent manages and repairs motorized and mechanical equipment, ensuring seamless operations. In the absence of the Director, the Superintendent assumes leadership responsibilities. This opportunity is ideal for an Assistant Superintendent seeking advancement in their career.

Functions:

- Plan and supervise maintenance activities for greens, tees, and fairways, including scheduling and equipment management.

- Provide guidance to equipment operators on proper operation and maintenance procedures. Supervise pesticide applications, ensuring calibration and safety standards are met.

- Manage personnel, including evaluation, safety protocols, and disciplinary actions.

- Adjust daily work schedules based on professional assessment and oversee snow removal operations.

- Oversee clubhouse maintenance and assist in planning future projects and improvements.
