Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Equipment Manager to join our team. The Equipment Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. This role demands a meticulous individual with a passion for precision and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf course equipment, including mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues and address them promptly to minimize downtime.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- Collaborate with the golf course superintendent to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Manage the equipment budget effectively, seeking cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Supervise equipment technicians and provide training and guidance as needed.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a golf course setting.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to equipment operation and maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
