Sales Manager

The Sales and Support Manager is a dynamic position in the business that will drive the day to day dealings with our dealer network in North America and the end customers that are supported by our dealer network.

With a key focus on driving sales across North America, this role requires a strong connection with the dealer sales teams to help shape the product requirements for North America.  This role will also focus on after sales support to ensure our customers understand our machines and are utilizing them to their best effect.

This role will require a clear plan to deliver demo days with our dealer teams that will provide end customers with the opportunity to experience our products and to drive sales across the territory.

Key duties include:

  • Communicating with dealers and end customers to understand their needs and requirements 
  • Answering dealers questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails
  • Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of Tru-Turf’s products
  • Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers
  • Create and activate a regular in person call cycle to North American dealers and their customers.
  • Coordinate regular demo days with dealers for their customers in North America to engage end users and drive sales opportunities.
  • Assist with Tru-Turf’s trade show presence in North America and provide on the ground support with activations.
  • Own any issues to conclusion that need to be investigated if an immediate resolution is not available.
  • Support company marketing initiatives and activations to engage participation from dealers and end customers

Experience Requirements

This role would suit an experienced turf industry professional.

That could be someone with machinery sales experience or a course superintendent, or equipment manager who is seeking a transition to sales management.

What we require is someone who brings passion to the role and has an affinity with the golf and sports turf industry.
