Golf Sales Account Manager Northern California Department: Sales Reports to: General Manager/Golf Sales Supervises: None We are currently hiring for Golf Account Manager at Stockton’s dealership. The Account Manager is responsible for the sales to and relationship with key Golf customer accounts for the greater Sacramento/Reno/Tahoe area. Position Summary: The Golf Sales Manager will be solely responsible for driving revenues through selling day golf groups of 16 or more players and providing a memorable experience for those guests at Evermore Orlando Resort. This includes hotel, transient, corporate, charity, fraternal, and other groups of 16 players or more that do not require overnight accommodations. This role will require the candidate to be able to build relationships with their teammates and potential clients for the short-term and long-term success of the resort. Position will work closely with all other administrative and operational departments to ensure flawless execution and communication. Key Responsibilities: ● Identify and prospect key group markets (corporate, charity, transient, hotel referral, etc) to generate revenues to exceed established and agreed upon goals. ● Create and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with the Conrad Orlando and Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress sales teams. ● Use the resources provided by the resort to build strong relationships with key local, regional, and national groups including but not limited to FSGA, USGA, Orlando Magic, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Walt Disney World, Lockheed Martin, etc. ● Respond to all inquiries within 24 business hours of inquiry receipt. ● Develop a prospecting list through organization of donation requests. ● Maintain contacts and correspondence with all group leaders in our Sales software. ● Create proposals, contracts and reports using property-based software. ● Be able to conduct site-visits that will secure business at a high proficiency level. ● Update and maintain client files including proposals, contracts, booking patterns, pairings, F&B requests, merchandise requests and any other pertinent information on golf or other revenue areas (not including accommodations). ● Collect initial deposits and final balances as they are stated within the executed contract. ● Confirm all information regarding their groups on resumes and banquet event orders (BEO’s), amenity forms and other interdepartmental communications. ● Communicate pertinent information to other departments through verbal and written communication. ● Be creative in developing marketing and promotional efforts needed to attract groups. ● Work together with Director of Golf & Sports Sales, Director of Golf and Golf Operations team to ensure the highest quality experience for our guests at the resort. ● Work directly with our accounting team to ensure proper billing and revenue receipts in a timely manner. ● Promote Evermore Orlando Resort locally through community & industry organizations, tradeshows, etc. ● Collaborate with director of golf, head professionals, pro shop, and all golf associates to deliver a memorable group golf experience Physical Requirements Able to visually look at a computer for extended periods of time while using repetitive hand motions, such as typing.
