2nd Assistant Superintendent

Join us at Thunderbird Hills Golf Course as a 2nd Assistant Superintendent and take your career to the next level.  Thunderbird Hills has two public 18 hole golf courses and a 50 acre driving range facility, located just off State Route 2 in Huron, OH.  We’re looking for a passionate, hard working individual to join our team to assist in golf course maintenance duties as well as renovation projects. 

The 2nd Assistant Superintendent will work directly with the Assistant Superintendents and Golf Course Superintendent and assists with regular maintenance of the golf courses. These responsibilities may include:

landscape and turf maintenance, irrigation system installation and repair, equipment operation, and pest and weed control.

Preferred Qualifications Include: 

previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping, a passion for turf grass management, experience with irrigation systems, ability to operate golf course maintenance equipment, educational background in turf grass science or related field, and a willingness to learn.  Commercial applicator license preferred, but not required.
