We take pride in our attention to detail, creativity, and commitment to customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Tree and Shrub Retail Sales Associate to join our team.
Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and landscaping, along with excellent communication and customer service skills. As a Tree and Shrub Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right trees and shrubs for their needs, providing expert advice on care and maintenance, and closing sales transactions. A general knowledge of trees and shrubs and their proper care, health, and planting zone is required. Knowledge of proper soils and fertilizers and how to recommend them to clients is also required. We are looking for an individual to sell trees and shrubs, assist with annual & perennial sales and tag sweeps as needed by the tree buyer. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Expertise and passion in generating sales is important.

Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a garden center, nursery, or landscaping environment.
- Strong knowledge of trees, shrubs, and other plants commonly used in landscaping, including their characteristics, growth requirements, and care techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide helpful guidance.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for plants and gardening.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as required.
Special Requirements
- Lifting heavy plants, bending, and standing for extended periods.
