Interview Timeline
We will be conducting interviews in person in Nashville and over the phone for relocation candidates. Start dates range from mid-January through February, with additional team members added throughout the spring.

Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma required
- Preferred (not required): College coursework or degree in Turf Science, Soil Science, Agronomy, or related fields
Experience
No experience needed—we will train the right person.
Preferred but not required:
- Basic understanding of turfgrass
- Experience in golf, landscaping, horticulture, or groundskeeping
- Ability to obtain Tennessee Category C03 certification (we provide training)
Other Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong customer service mindset
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Turfgrass Technician position requires specific physical and cognitive abilities to ensure safe and effective job performance. Essential physical requirements include:
· Physical Stamina and Strength: Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day), as well as lift, carry, and handle equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
· Manual Dexterity and Fine Motor Skills: Skilled use of hands and arms to operate machinery, apply chemicals, handle tools, and perform detailed tasks with precision.
· Sensory Abilities: Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) to monitor treatment areas and equipment operation, along with clear hearing to perceive job-related sounds.
· Chemical Handling: Ability to safely handle, mix, and apply various lawn care chemicals, including fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides, following safety guidelines and proper PPE usage.
· Driving: Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles to various job sites as needed, with a strong attention to road and driving safety practices.
Cognitive Abilities
· Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow instructions and maintain a high standard of care in the application of chemicals and maintenance tasks.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to identify and troubleshoot issues in equipment or treatment applications as they arise.
· Safety Awareness: Consistent focus on safety for oneself and others, including safe handling of chemicals, awareness of environmental impact, and appropriate response to safety procedures.
These physical and cognitive abilities are essential for maintaining high-quality lawn care services and ensuring a safe working environment.
