Located 10 minutes from downtown Athens, The Rose will be built on a 588-acre property that has natural rolling topography. The course will be grassed throughout 2025 with a planned opening in 2026. The founders of The Rose are Nick Cassini, a two-time All-American golfer and member of the 2001 Walker Cup team, and his brother Dimitri. The Cassinis have been joined by three professional golfers as founding members, two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson and multiple-time PGA Tour winners Brendon Todd and Chris Kirk. Annual starting salary is malleable based on candidate's experience. |
Educational Requirements
- High school education required, college degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 5 years applicable functional, supervisory and/or management experience, preferably in the golf industry.
- Demonstrated experience and capability in the areas of budget development, fiscal management, strategic planning, staff management.
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
- Read and write (English)
- Communicate verbally with staff members and/or guests with or without the use of two-way radios.
- Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions and supervise subordinates
- Visually inspect all work areas, golf courses, and grounds complex
- See players on the golf course, and to follow the flight of golf balls
- Operate vehicles and equipment for several hours at a time
- Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Retrieve, read and interpret information from technical sources
- Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time
- Lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally, 50 lbs. frequently, and 20 lbs. constantly
