Job Description:
Bacon Park Golf Course, located in Savannah, Georgia  is a 1926 Donald Ross gem restored in 2016 by Richard  Mandell .

The par 71 course stretching to 6,418  yards  with Celebration  Bermuda  fairways and roughs and Champion Bermuda greens. The course’s topography and landscaping is unlike any other in the area and promotes a feeling unlike any other in coastal Georgia.

Requirements:

•  Minimum 2 years as a First Assistant, Superintendent experience preferred.
•  2 or 4 year turfgrass degree required.
•  Preferred candidates will have history of successfully managing championship Champion grass greens.
•  ATTENTION TO DETAIL, candidate must have demonstrated this at previous facility.
•  Valid Georgia Driver’s License or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
•  Valid Georgia Pesticide Applicators license or ability to obtain it within 120 days.
•  Demonstrated experience and capability in development of Employee Partners to reach the next level of conditions and experience, communications with leadership team as well as members, budgets and reporting, managing member’s expectations.
•  Ability to analyze and solve problems; effectively handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights and weekends.
•  Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
•  Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with Members, Employee Partners and guests.

Salary:
70000.00 - 85000.00 DOE
