Golf Course Superintendent

The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for agronomic management  and daily maintenance of the golf course, clubhouse grounds and driving range.  As superintendent at Anaheim Hills Golf Course, you will be communicating directly with the general manager and regional superintendent. 

Anaheim Hills Golf Course is a local favorite and frequent escape for some of Orange County’s most dedicated and accomplished golfers. Located just minutes from Disneyland, we welcome visitors and locals alike to enjoy the incredible value of daily tee times, pristine golf course conditions and professional golf instruction all nestled right in the heart of Orange County, near Irvine, Santa Ana, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, and Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the golf course in proper playing condition according to Company standards
• Implement the approved maintenance plan and adhere to the budget
• Direct and supervise the maintenance of greens, fairways, tees, sand traps, bodies of water, roughs, maintenance shop and grounds, cart maintenance, and clubhouse maintenance
• Create a high-performance team while maintaining a positive, safe, challenging, enjoyable work environment
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage staff.
• Responsible for co-worker satisfaction, team building
• Identify and address safety issues immediately
• Conduct monthly safety meeting/training with maintenance staff and record attendance.
• Maintain accurate records to track labor costs, maintenance expenses, construction activities, equipment repair, OSHA safety activities, and fertilizer, chemical, and pest control practices within city, state and federal guidelines
