Equipment/Shop Manager

Deerwood Country Club is seeking a new Golf Course Mechanic. This individual should be a self-starter, independent, and self-motivated. Hours are Fiexible 

Work Life Balance, Off All Holidays, 35 Hours Per Week 

•  Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on a variety of golf course maintenance equipment 
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, blade sharpening, tire replacement, and preventative servicing.
•  Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
•  Keep equipment clean, safe, and in top operating condition.
•  Order and manage parts inventory as needed.
•  Assist in training staff on safe operation and daily maintenance of equipment.
•  Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist with seasonal preparations (e.g., winterizing equipment, transitioning for summer/fall operations).
•  Communicate regularly with the superintendent and grounds team regarding equipment performance and needs
