With a long-standing commitment to excellence, we have recently invested in a full golf course renovation and the construction of a state-of-the-art maintenance facility. Our equipment fleet is modern, well-maintained, and supported by an ample operational budget. We take pride in fostering a positive, professional work environment and are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Manager to join our agronomy team.

Position Summary:
The Equipment Manager is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overall management of the golf course maintenance equipment fleet. This includes scheduling preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, maintaining detailed service records, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership position working alongside a dedicated team to support elite playing conditions year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair all turf equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and small engines

  • Oversee a modern maintenance facility that is 3 years old and fully equipped

  • Implement and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program

  • Manage equipment inventory, parts ordering, and maintenance records

  • Collaborate with the Director of Agronomy and Assistants on equipment needs and scheduling

  • Train and support staff on proper use and basic care of equipment

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Golf Course Equipment Technician or Equipment Manager (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical skills, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and small engine repair

  • Familiarity with Toro and John Deere equipment preferred

  • Ability to operate turf equipment for diagnostic purposes

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
