Turf Equipment Technician

We are looking for a full time Turf Equipment Technician for the Ground's department at Shannopin Country Club located fifteen minutes north of the city of Pittsburgh. We are looking for a highly motivated detail-oriented individual. The Equipment technician will report to the Golf Course Superintendent and will be responsible for the entire Ground's Equipment Fleet. Our fleet includes a range of brands including Toro, John Deere, Wiedenman, Jacobsen, Ventrac, etc. We are looking for someone who can maintain basic equipment upkeep including grinding reels, checking mower heights, oil changes, checking brakes, etc. The individual will also be responsible for repairing any equipment break downs the fleet experiences. We are looking for someone with great communication skills who can proactively convey equipment and part needs to the Superintendent. We possess an equipment lift, Bernhard Reel Grinder and Bed Knife Grinder, and all tools necessary to upkeep equipment and complete repairs.
