Golf Course Superintendent

Copake Country Club is seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance and agronomy operations of our 18-hole golf course. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of turf care, including the daily upkeep of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers, ensuring exceptional playing conditions throughout the season. The Superintendent will develop and execute agronomic plans tailored to the course, including fertilization, irrigation management, and pest control strategies. This role involves supervising and training the grounds crew, managing equipment maintenance, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Superintendent will work closely with ownership and the Head Pro. A deep knowledge of turfgrass science, strong leadership skills, and a passion for golf course excellence are essential.
