Equipment/Shop Manager

Full-time

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Mechanic will ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally to support our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  • Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter to test electrical components and systems.
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools, including an Ohmmeter.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
