Golf Course Superintendent
The Torrington Country Club is now hiring a Golf Course Superintendent.
Course Information:
The Torrington Country Club, established in 1929 and designed by Orrin Smith, is a private 18-hole, 6,700-yard par 72 golf course recognized as one of the finest in the state of Connecticut. We have hosted the CT Open, the CT State Men's and Women's Amateur Championships, the New England Women’s Championship, as well as numerous qualifiers, USGA events, and State Championships. The club is known for its traditional design, true-rolling greens, demanding shot accuracy, and fairways that require thoughtful shot preparation. The golf course is one of the most challenging in the state due to its uneven lines and elevated greens, which are extremely quick and have undulating surfaces. The club is situated in Connecticut's rolling hills, offering a picturesque rural country setting.
