Equipment/Shop Manager
Quail West Golf and Country Club is a private 36 hole community located in Naples, FL. We are seeking a candidate to replace our Equipment Manager who is retiring after 25 years of service. The Equipment Manager is a vital member of our community responsible for 36-holes of Toro Equipment all purchased in the last 8 years, HOA landscaping equipment, aid in capital purchases and planning, 4 technicians, and our 61,000sqft maintenance facility. Specifically the maintenance facility is best in class. All four of our equipment repair bays, grinding room, and parts storage are all air conditioned creating an extremely pleasant working environment.
Educational Requirements
· Requires a valid Florida Drivers License.
· Will direct life/safety procedures if and when necessary.
· Requires management, leadership and people skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be well organized and handle multiple situations simultaneously.
· Will work within budget guidelines.
· Must possess the ability to recommend solutions for increased efficiency precipitating cost savings solutions.
· Develop formalized procedures of educational requirements to support employee development.
· Must possess the ability to learn and efficiently utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook as it applies to departmental needs.
· Requires working knowledge of spreadsheets, income statements, and budgeting programs.
· Requires lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds.
· Must have pleasant and outgoing personality, and be able to intelligently communicate with members, residents and staff.
· Must be able to gain cooperation and respect of staff members and peers.
· Must remain current with industry trends as it applies to industry specific equipment.
· Exhibit the self-discipline of leadership.
· Personal and social habits outside the job need to reflect the respect and responsibility of this position.
· Must be well groomed and maintain a neat, clean and well kept physical appearance.
· Must not possess any extreme personal appearance characteristics as judged by the conservative membership base.

Experience Requirements
10 + years experience as an Equipment Manager, preferably at a multi-course facility.
