Golf Course Superintendent

Manages maintenance on the golf course to provide optimal course conditions year round. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the golf course, including turf management, irrigation, and landscaping.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans for greens, fairways, and bunkers.
• Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Monitor and maintain equipment used for course maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Communicate with golf course management and staff regarding course conditions and improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of agronomy, horticulture, and turf management.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and golfers.
