Are you ready to shape the future of a course with history, heart, and untapped potential? We’re seeking a Golf Course Superintendent to lead the revitalization of Ponderosa Golf Course(formerly Sandy Creek), a beloved local gem preparing for its grand re-opening.

This is more than turf management—it’s a chance to restore a legacy, build a team, and create a playing experience that draws golfers back season after season.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee all agronomic operations, including irrigation, fertilization, mowing, and pest control
• Collaborate with ownership and contractors on course restoration and infrastructure upgrades
• Recruit and manage grounds crew with a focus on safety, efficiency, and pride in workmanship
• Implement sustainable practices that balance playability with environmental stewardship
• Prepare the course for re-opening and maintain high level conditions thereafter


What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a superintendent or assistant superintendent
• Deep knowledge of turfgrass science, irrigation systems, and equipment maintenance
• Strong leadership and communication skills—able to rally a team and work with stakeholders
• Passion for golf and a vision for what makes a course truly memorable
• GCSAA certification preferred but not required
