Assistant-in-Training
As an AIT, you’ll work directly under our Golf Course Superintendent and assistant superintendents, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of course maintenance and management. You'll prepare for growth into an Assistant Superintendent position over time, through structured exposure and mentorship.
Your responsibilities may include:

Assisting with daily course maintenance—mowing, setup, bunker care, detail work, etc.

Supporting irrigation repairs, hand-watering, and troubleshooting irrigation systems

Calibrating and applying fertilizers and pesticides safely and accurately

Participating in cultural practices like aerification and topdressing

Learning administrative duties like record-keeping, scheduling, and equipment tracking

Observing and contributing to larger-scale projects or renovations under guidance
Educational Requirements

Strong interest in persuing a a career as a Golf Course Superintendent

You bring a positive, eager-to-learn attitude and ready to thrive in a high-paced, team environment

Previous golf course maintenance experience is a plus—but enthusiasm and a good work ethic are what matter most
Experience Requirements
1-2 years of golf course experience preferred
