2nd Assistant Superintendent
Established in 1896, The Country Club of Harrisburg (CCH) has a rich tradition with its William Flynn designed 18 hole golf course, mountain trails for hiking, sporting clays, trout fishing, Har-Tru clay tennis courts and swimming pool. Located on 300 acres of mountain property, the clubhouse overlooks the Susquehanna River just north of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Known for its challenging layout, scenic views and abundant wildlife, CCH offers a true club in the country experience.
CCH is seeking a second Assistant Golf Course Superintendent who can help us manage and maintain the extensive property. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with First Assistant and Superintendent.
- Golf course maintenance and management.
- Irrigation and water management- Toro Lynx with Smart satellites.
- Personnel management.
- Projects.
- Applications of fertilizers and chemicals.
Educational Requirements
Turf certificate, A.S. or B.S. in turf or related field or in the process.
Experience Requirements
Two years golf course experience.
