Assistant Equipment Technician
Palmetto Pine Country Club in Cape Coral is looking for a dependable and motivated Assistant Equipment Manager to help keep our golf course equipment running smoothly. This is a great opportunity to work in a semi-private club environment with a supportive team and solid work culture.
This position offers the chance to train under a highly experienced Master Mechanic, with the goal of developing into the Lead Equipment Manager role in the coming years.
What You’ll Do:

Help maintain, repair, and set up all types of Toro turf equipment – mowers, utility carts, small engines, and tools.

Assist with reel and bedknife sharpening, adjustments, and preventive maintenance.

Keep the shop organized and equipment clean and ready to go each morning.

Work closely with the Equipment Manager and Superintendent to keep the operation efficient and safe.

Pitch in wherever needed to help the team and course succeed.
Experience Requirements
What We’re Looking For:

Some mechanical experience preferred (golf course or similar is a plus).

Basic knowledge of small engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good attention to detail.

Reliable, team-oriented, and takes pride in doing quality work.

Ambition to grow into a lead or head mechanic position over time.
