Operations Manager

Full-time

Are you tired of waiting for the next superintendent position to open at a high-end club that pays well and isn’t several states away? Check this ad out.

At Texas Land Care, we have the opportunity to install and maintain some of the world's most unique and prestigious landscapes. We work with some of the nation's top residential home builders and execute nationally and internationally renowned Landscape Architects' designs. Unless you've been in this side of the industry, you can't even imagine the unique things we find ourselves trying to figure out how to do. Our project budgets range from $10,000 to $10,000,000, with an average project of over $1,000,000. It's not your typical landscaping gig; this is landscaping to the Nth degree.

We’re specifically targeting individuals who have high-end golf course management experience, have been heavily involved with supervision of course or clubhouse construction/renovations, and have the “can-do” attitude that comes with the life and pursuit of being a Golf Course Superintendent, because many areas of your unique skill set will carry over. We know because we were you.

We know all about it. Here at Texas Land Care, we have several staff members, myself included, who have switched from managing high-end golf courses and the pursuit of the elusive Superintendent position search to landscape construction. The position is not without the same high demand for performance, customer service, and attention to the finest details, but we enjoy the work hours, the pay and benefits, and the accomplishment we feel completing 1 of 1, unique landscapes, working for the ultra-wealthy, and being a part of something truly great.

We also know your schedule sucks, and typical interview time windows likely won’t fit yours. We’re open to scheduling interviews any time, day or night, that best suits your ability to attend via phone, Zoom, or in-person.
