Equipment/Shop Manager

Golf Course Mechanic  - Full time or  Part Time

Pay Range:      $55,000 - $65,000 plus bonus (full time)   Hourly rate for part time position.

Lead the implementation of preventive maintenance programs for all equipment on inventory in the golf maintenance operation. 
As directed, repairs and maintains all golf maintenance equipment. 
Maintain the mechanics work area and company tools in a clean, well-organized, safe and secure manner. 
Assist with maintaining adequate inventory levels of petroleum products, replacement parts, and shop supplies as established by the Golf Course Superintendent. 
Advise supervisor on capital equipment addition or replacement needs. 
Be responsible for all required documentation relating to equipment repairs and purchasing replacement parts as directed. 
Assist in training grounds staff on proper and safe operation of maintenance equipment.  
 

Educational Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in golf course mechanics experience or small engine repairs 
High school diploma, GED. Or equivalent, preferred 
Must have technical and working knowledge of all equipment as well as replacement parts, supplies and other resources needed in the repair and upkeep of the equipment.

functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other Employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
Adhere to all the various companies, club and department written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all of which go to make up the essential functions of the job.

Responsible for maintaining good conduct and safe working habits while in all areas and assuring others are acting safely.
