Golf Course Superintendent

Full-time

ServiScape at Pottawattomie Country Club (PCC) is seeking an experienced and motivated Golf Course Superintendent to lead the golf course maintenance team and department. PCC was founded in 1909 with the original 9-holes designed by famed architect Tom Bendelow. The 2nd 9-holes were designed and constructed by Bob Simmons in 1965 completing what is now the 18 hole layout at PCC. Over the last few years several projects have been completed to include expanding the driving range tee (grass and synthetic), the construction of a new chipping green, replacing sand in all the bunkers, upgrades to the irrigation & pump systems, an extensive tree management program, and updated equipment replacement among others. More recently PCC formally engaged Raymond Hearn to develop a long range master plan, which we intend to implement in the near future.

PCC is unique to the area with not only the course design but the rolling topography. The current routing stretches the course to 6,700 yards. The greens, tees, and fairways are a blend of bent and poa irrigated with a Toro irrigation system. The majority of the equipment is Toro with  a few alternative manufacturers.

The membership and board of directors of PCC have a strong commitment to continual improvements to the club, which has been and continues to be demonstrated by the resources  the club directs toward those improvements.
