Golf Course Superintendent
The Colts Neck Golf and Country Club , the area's premier semi-private golf course, is seeking an experienced, passionate, knowledgeable golf course superintendent. The course is located on a 170 acre tract consisting of sandy loam top soil with excellent drainage. Incorporating 70 bunkers and 007 bent grass tees and fairways, and bent / poa greens. Full Toro double row irrigation system and wide array of Toro maintenance equipment to maintain excellent course conditions. Featuring a 25 station double ended driving range and members only practice short game complex
Educational Requirements
5 years of golf course management experience required with progressing
responsibilities.
B. S. or Associate degree in Agronomy or Horticulture (or 2 Year Turfgrass Certificate equivalent)
GCSAA Member preferred
Knowledge of local, federal, DEP, and state laws and regulations affecting management
of golf courses is a must
Accepting Current / Former superintendents as well as 1st Assistant’s as candidates for the position
Experience Requirements
Advanced knowledge of cool-season turf (Bent/Poa), irrigation system management, and modern agronomic practices.
Proven ability to consistently deliver high-quality course conditions and manage all in-season and shoulder-season challenges.
Experience with renovation/restoration projects, drainage work, bunker improvements, and capital planning.

Must be highly organized, motivated, detail oriented and have exceptional communication / interpersonal skills

SALARY: $120k-$150k package DOE
