Turf Equipment Technician
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a mechanical aptitude to join our team. Ideal candidates should be organized, clean, honest, self-motivated, disciplined, a team player. Will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all golf course equipment, including company vehicles. As a team player, the equipment technician will be occasionally be asked to help on the golf course and with various projects. This will allow for involvement in multiple areas of the operation and not limit you to just the shop all day.

We also have an excellent equipment lease with John Deere that allows for a rotation of new equipment. This lease will be ending this year, so you will get a chance to work with our Equipment Manager to help build the next lease for 2027. The club recently built an equipment technician toolbox so that you will have access to almost any tool you will ever need and we are continuously adding new tools as needed. We will also provide continuing education and training from various outside sources to help you grow as a Turf Equipment Technician.
We also have an extensive robotic mower fleet we use to maintain rough at all three courses. We will also be introducing robotic mowers to maintain the newly renovated short game area and range.
The position would be asked to work 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday and a 4 hour shift on one weekend day from April - September during the golf season. During October - March you will work a 40 hour work week with two days off.
Educational Requirements
Technical training in automotive or small engine repair is preferred but not required.
Experience Requirements
Golf course equipment experience preferred, however, will train if experienced with repair and maintenance of small engines and hydraulics.
We will also considered anyone with experience as an automotive technician who is looking for a change of scenery but still wants to work on engines and vehicles.
The candidate should have a caring and friendly demeanor and be willing to work closely with our superintendents and assistant superintendents to exceed member expectations.
Special Requirements
Part of the job will require working with Husqvarna robotic mowers and a robotic range picker. Candidate is expected to be able to learn about robotic equipment and help maintain and repair alongside our Equipment Manager.
Job Benefits
$60,000 - $75,000. Commensurate with experience. Contribution towards health and dental insurance, after the 90 day probationary period; 401K and vacation after 90 days of service; uniforms provided.
