Assistant-in-Training
Country Club of the Rockies, located in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, near the town of Vail, is seeking individuals that would like to spend a season on our Jack Nicklaus Signature course. We are a true golf club, ranked as one of the finest exclusive clubs in the western United States. Candidates need a strong work ethic, desire to learn, and preferably a keen interest in golf course maintenance. We are a hard working, fun loving bunch, that appreciates where we live and a desire to create a fantastic product for our members. The Director of Agronomy, Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent have many decades of experience at some of the finest private clubs in the country, we can help you with career decisions as your time with us develops. This is a seasonal position from April through October. Housing is provided by the club.
Educational Requirements
Enrolled or a graduate of a turfgrass management school.
Experience Requirements
Must have an understanding of the game of golf, preferably some experience in golf course maintenance or sports turf.
Special Requirements
A good sense of humor and desire to learn.
Job Benefits
Housing provided, moving expenses paid by the club.
