Primary Responsibilities
-
Assist with daily golf course setup and maintenance
-
Supervise and work alongside maintenance staff
-
Assist with irrigation scheduling, troubleshooting, and repairs
-
Apply fertilizers and plant protection products in compliance with regulations
-
Monitor turf health, moisture levels, and playing conditions
-
Assist with planning and execution of agronomic programs and course projects
-
Safely operate and maintain turf equipment
-
Maintain accurate records and assist with scheduling
-
Promote safety, efficiency, and a positive team culture
Preferred Qualifications
-
Degree, certificate, or current enrollment in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred
-
1–3 years of golf course maintenance or turf management experience
-
Knowledge of cool-season turfgrasses, including bentgrass, Kentucky bluegrass, turf-type tall fescue, and fine fescue
-
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

Good communication and organizational skills
Work Schedule
Summer (June–September):

12 days on / 2 days off rotation

One (1) three-day weekend per month
Off-Season (December–March):

Five-day work week

One (1) weekend per month rotation
