Yakima Country Club was established in 1916 as a nine-hole golf club and expanded to 18 holes in 1954 by renowned golf architect A.V. Macan. His vision transformed the course into a classic private club, thoughtfully routed through the natural terrain and rolling hills while preserving the inherent beauty of the Yakima Valley.
Today, we are awaiting approval to bring in an architect to further restore and enhance the golf course in alignment with Macan’s original design intent across all holes. In 2022, all greens were fully rebuilt and re-grassed with Pure Distinction bentgrass, and a multi-year greenside bunker renovation program is currently underway.
