Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray Technician / 2nd Assistant Superintendent to join our turf management team starting February 1, 2026. This individual will assist in the daily operation of the golf course maintenance department, with a focus on chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation, and overall turf health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely mix, calibrate, and apply pesticides and fertilizers to golf course turf and landscape areas
• Maintain accurate spray records and inventory
• Assist the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent with daily course setup and staff supervision
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems
• Participate in turf maintenance tasks such as mowing, aeration, topdressing, and bunker maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

• Prior golf course maintenance or spray technician experience preferred
• Maryland pesticide applicator’s license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Strong understanding of turf management practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings
• Attention to detail, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset
