Sports Turf Technician
NorthEast Sportsfield-Rec., a division of Landscaping By J. Michael, is seeking an experience and career minded sports turf installer. Must have experience is baseball field/mound construction and layout, laser grading, equipment operations, tractors, spreaders, etc. . Strong turf maintenance and care is helpful on how to maintain turf afterwards.
Must be comfortable working independently when required, trustworthy and good work habits.
Must be willing to travel when necessary.
Educational Requirements
2 year degree in turf or horticulture preferred.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of sports field construction required.
D.O.T. medical card, hoisting license or ability to obtain in 60 days, and a Class A or B preferred.
O.S.H.A. 10 or 30 are necessary when working on public funded projects.
ASBA Certification a bonus.
