The Turf Maintenance Account Manager, internally known as the Turf Care Expert (TCE) is our primary point of contact in the territory when it comes to maintaining turf fields. The TCE is responsible for landing new maintenance contracts on our competitor’s fields, conducting field maintenance training with local Athletic Directors and Facility Managers, and central in maintaining the current relationships with our Field Owners. In addition to developing strong relationships throughout the territory, our TCEs are responsible for performing our Championship Quality Maintenance Service Program, honoring warranty commitments, and other miscellaneous field care and construction services. The TCE will take a personalized approach with each of our customers through developing a consistent relationship and delivering services that meet the individualized need for each field/facility. Responsibilities: Grow maintenance contracts within assigned territory Performs routine maintenance of a synthetic turf field which includes but is not limited to: Field Cleaning, Field Evaluation, Field Testing, Equipment Operation, and the hand delivery of reports for Field Owners Coordinates and completes warranty services per the contract within territory Coordinates and completes repair services for fields within territory Maintain strong relationships with current field owners by being the regional subject matter expert on turf fields Develops relationship with prospective clients through “Field Days” to train current and potential clients on field maintenance, cold calling, and attending industry tradeshows Develops proposals for small jobs/services on an as needed basis for current Motz Field Owners Performs Maintenance Training for newly installed fields within territory Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels to ensure maintenance, warranty and repairs can be completed in a timely manner Lead and motivate all crew members in a safe team environment of mutual respect and dedication to customer service and uncompromised quality Conduct tool box and jobsite safety meetings Promote The Motz Group Core Values in all interactions (internal and external) Qualifications: Minimum 3 years experience in field maintenance or construction and installation Ability to prioritize responsibilities TMG & client deliverables Able to build relationships inside and outside of TMG Demonstrates an understanding of the field life cycle Demonstrates an understanding of how to evaluate field quality Prior experience in successfully leading and managing teams Demonstrates a strong attention to detail Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office is preferred, but not required Self-motivated and self-starting Strong verbal communication skills; articulate; ability to ask for help when needed and speak professionally both inside and outside of the organization Strong written communication skills; experienced with writing proposals for products and services Overnight travel Environment/Physical Expectations: Must lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds Frequently required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Frequently exposed to fumes, dust, vibrations and will get “hands dirty” Occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions at job sites Work demands may require irregular work schedules, long hours, weekends, etc. Overnight travel and travel out of state required Reports To: Field Maintenance Manager, The Motz Group Employment Classification Level: Non-Exempt
