Area: Central Florida & East Coast, For: JSM Services, Inc., A Drug Free Workplace The JSM Services Dealer Robotic Mower Technician is part of the Husqvarna Golf and Sports Turf GST Team and supports the end user. As a first line of support, this job requires regular interaction with sports field managers, Golf Course superintendents, mechanics and other end users. The technician supports demos, monitors units, provides in-field support, repairs units, and supports installations as needed to enhance the end user experience. The technician will provide technical training for end users in person, by phone and/or virtually. May required some travel with overnights required. This position reports directly to the JSM Services Florida Manager of GST Robotic Mowers. What You Need to Know: · Play a key supporting role to increase company brand position in assigned territory · Be the product expert for Automower models and CEORA. · Ability to lift 50 lbs · Perform role at a high level of professionalism at premier golf and sports venues · Provide written and verbal communication to document field issues and product concerns. · Utilize Husqvarna digital tools for moderate to advanced electrical diagnostics · Ability to work in the field with a level of autonomy to make correct decisions in supporting end users. The City of Scottsdale is seeking a highly motivated individual who has demonstrated turf and landscape experience to join the Sports Complex maintenance operation which oversees Scottsdale Sports Complex, Bell94 Sports Complex, Reata Sports Complex, and Westworld Polo Field.  These facilities include 21 sand based sports fields which attract regional/national level tournament play as well as local practices throughout the year.  Duties will include but are not limited to day to day leadership and staff direction, initiation and execution of maintenance projects, irrigation preventative maintenance, sports field line layout and painting, mowing, fertilization and herbicide application, troubleshooting turf related issues, and landscape maintenance.      Essential Functions Performs duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following:  Trains personnel as needed. Assists with diagnosing and troubleshooting irrigation related problems. Repairs irrigation mainlines from ¾" to 2'' in size using components and techniques established by the industry, repairs and conducts preventative maintenance on irrigation heads. Programs the irrigation controller system and adheres to established water allocations. Operates turf equipment such as mowers, tractors, aerators, and utility vehicles to maintain sports fields. Calibrates seed and fertilizer spreaders to uniformly plant seed and fertilize turf throughout the year; calibrates and applies liquid fertilizer and seasonal herbicide control. Personifies leadership and promotes shared responsibility, teamwork, and continuous improvement by assisting the supervisor in planning, organizing, observing, and directing a variety of maintenance activities.

Job:  Sports Field Technician  Department: Sports Field Job Type: Full-Time, Year-Round; 40 hours per week; weekends and holidays required, overtime when required; Non-Exempt  Pay Range: $27-30 per hour Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package 60 days following date of hire (health insurance, paid time off, free parking on site etc.) Work Location: Randall’s Island Park, New York, NY 10035 POSITION DESCRIPTION The Sports Field Technician will report to the Director of Grounds and the Sports Field Manager and will work with other members of the crew to maintain the surfaces of 60+ athletic playing fields at Randall’s Island Park. This position will primarily focus on the maintenance of square sport fields such as soccer, lacrosse, cricket, rugby, etc., and occasionally will assist with the upkeep of ballfields and the new Kentucky bluegrass, sand-based regulation soccer pitch at Icahn Stadium. The Sports Field Technician will be responsible for keeping the Director and Manager updated regarding field conditions and troubleshooting challenges that may arise. This position offers a unique opportunity to maintain fields of various playing surfaces and levels across a 330-acre park in New York City.   MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES •    Implement and build upon the turf plan for the athletic playing fields at the park, under the guidance and direction of the Director of Grounds and Sports Field Manager.   •    Assist with maintenance of the athletic fields throughout the park, specifically square sport fields. •    Work with the Sports Field crew to assist with daily field maintenance including field layout, dimensions, mowing, seeding, fertilizing, watering, leveling, laying sod, removing debris, and rolling. •    Responsible for lining athletic playing fields.  •    Routinely observe athletic fields, troubleshoot issues and provide routine maintenance.   •    Regularly update the Director and Manager regarding field conditions.  •    Assist with a variety of projects, especially sod projects.  •    Apply knowledge of synthetic turf field general maintenance and repair.  •    Operate hand tools such as various hoes, rakes, tampers, and shovels. •    Operate small equipment such as walk and riding lawnmowers, weed whackers, vibratory tamps, sod cutters, edgers and backpack leaf blowers. •    Operate large equipment such as motorized utility vehicles, tractors, and skid steers.  •    Ensure all equipment is secured and well-maintained, including washing, greasing, fueling, and arranging for service of equipment. •    Perform other general tasks as assigned.
