Town & Country Golf Links are currently looking for a qualified mechanic to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of turf equipment and carts. The candidate will devise a preventive service program and detailed record keeping to ensure the performance of our fleet. The Equipment Manage will work with the Golf Course Superintendent and communicate any needs or issues with the equipment.
Educational Requirements
High School diploma and technical degree preferred
Experience Requirements
- 5 years of golf course equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagnostics
- Proficiency in reel grinding and mower setup
- Experience in welding
Special Requirements
- Ensure that all equipment is set up properly
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues with equipment
- Set-up a preventive maintenance program
- Ability to keep detailed record keeping of service and repairs
- Ability to push, pull and lift 75 pounds
