Golf Course Superintendent

We are looking for a dedicated golf course superintendent to maintain and elevate the quality of our golf course.
a well-maintained Donald Ross golf course built in 1924, one of the best golf courses in southern Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course maintenance oversees the daily maintenance, including mowing, watering, and fertilizing the turf, as well as managing landscaping and irrigation systems.
- staff management hire, train, and supervise ground keeping staff, assigning daily tasks, and ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Budget management manage the golf course maintenance budget, expenses and ensuring cost- effective operations.
- Communication with club management, trustees, and members to address concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Long-term planning plan and execute long-tern improvement projects for the course and seasons maintenance schedules.
Experience Requirements
- Golf course or turf experience required (educational or hands of experience). Proven experience in golf course maintenance or a similar role is essential, along with strong understanding of turf grass management and irrigation systems.
- Must obtain pesticide applicator license.
- Strong leadership, communications, positive attitude, team-oriented, and dependable.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
