Turf Equipment Technician

Position Summary
Pinnacle Country Club is a private country club in Northwest Arkansas seeking an Equipment Technician to join our agronomy team. This role supports the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of golf course maintenance equipment and plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

We are looking for an entry- to mid-level technician who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and interested in growing their skill set in a professional, well-supported shop environment.  This position reports to and is directly supervised by our Equipment Manager.

Equipment Fleet

  • Toro golf course maintenance equipment

  • Kubota tractors

  • Smithco sprayers

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel system issues

  • Maintain reels, bedknives, and cutting units (grinding experience a plus)

  • Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and seasonal overhauls

  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and safety-focused

  • Communicate repair status and equipment needs with the director, equipment manager, superintendent, and assistant superintendents

  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures

Educational Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or GED Equivalent

Experience Requirements

  • 1–3 years of mechanical or equipment maintenance experience preferred
(golf, turf, ag, diesel, automotive, or small engine backgrounds considered)

  • Familiarity with Toro equipment a plus, but not required

  • Working knowledge of basic hydraulics, electrical systems, and engines

  • Willingness to learn reel grinding and advanced diagnostics

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
