Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary
The Turf Equipment Technician is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of all golf course maintenance equipment for both Meadows Farms and Somerset Farms Golf Courses. This position works closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on turf equipment, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, sprayers, and small engines
Maintain reels, bedknives, and cutting units to manufacturer and facility standards
Perform reel grinding and sharpening (preferred)
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
Assist with parts inventory control and ordering
Keep maintenance facilities clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Coordinate repair priorities with golf course management
Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe operating condition
Due to the dynamic nature of the clubs, assist other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned by management
Educational Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a golf course or turf equipment mechanic preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Welding and fabrication skills a plus
Valid driver’s license required
