Turf Equipment Technician
Fleet supervisor is responsible for preventative equipment maintenance program, emergency repairs and daily maintenance of all equipment and vehicles. Performs hands-on maintenance work as required. Two mechanics report to the incumbent. Neshanic Valley is a county-owned, 27-hole championship golf course plus nine-hole academy course with driving range and practice facility. Often ranked in top 3 public courses in New Jersey
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or GED. Must have a valid driver's license. CDL not required but can obtain if desired.
Experience Requirements
3-5 years as a mechanic preferred. Must have working knowledge of light and heavy-duty construction and maintenance equipment and automotive apparatus and skill in the use of a wide variety of equipment repair tools, and the making of various types of mechanical repairs. Must be able to work weekends and holidays if required, and emergency situations.
