Manchester Country Club, located in Bedford, NH is seeking an individual who is engaged and motivated to become a Golf Course Superintendent. MCC is a golf centric Country Club and is ranked as one of the top clubs in NH by Golf Digest and Golf Week Magazine. 

The golf course, established in 1923, is a Donald Ross design and offers a great golf experience for golfers of all levels. 

In 2023 the club celebrated its 100th anniversary and hosted the NH Amateur State Championship.

MCC is a Troon managed property which gives employees an opportunity to progress their careers through a worldwide network. 

Currently the Agronomy team consists of 13 Full time employees with another 10-12 seasonal employees from April through November. 

Educational Requirements

Turf Management certificate preferred but will train the right candidate with adequate golf course experience.

Experience Requirements

Prefer at least 1 year of golf course maintenance experience

Special Requirements

  • Individual must be self-disciplined with the determination to develop high quality playing conditions.
  • Passionate about the game of golf
  • Has a desire to lead by example and become a Golf Course Superintendent
  • Prefer at least 1 year of Golf Course Maintenance experience
  • Ability to obtain NH pesticide license within 60 days of hire
  • Ability to manage small projects on the golf course
  • Positive attitude with a sense of urgency to complete tasks thoroughly and on time
  • Embraces the opportunity to learn new practices on the golf course
  • Assistants are responsible for working every other weekend and holidays in season with a much more relaxed schedule in the winter months.
