2nd Assistant Superintendent
Metedeconk National Golf Club is a premier 27-hole private facility in central New Jersey known for championship-level conditioning and a demanding, detail-oriented membership. The club will host the 2029 USGA Four-Ball Championship, providing the maintenance team with national exposure and elite tournament preparation experience. This position is being posted as one of our assistants prepares to pursue a Superintendent opportunity. Under current leadership, three assistants have advanced to Superintendent roles over the past six years. We believe strongly in mentorship, accountability, and preparing assistants to lead their own operations. This is not simply a maintenance position — it is a development platform designed to prepare the right candidate for long-term leadership in golf course management.
