Assistant Equipment Technician

 

 

Spooner Golf Club is accepting applications for the Assistant Equipment Technician .

Spooner Golf Club is an 18 hole semi private/ daily fee course located in Northwestern Wisconsin. The original 9 hole course was built in 1930 and designed by Tom Varden. The “ new nine” was opened in 1982. A new Toro irrigation system was installed in 2011. The position is 10-months March through December. Feel free to call with any questions about the position.

Duties:

• Work with Equipment Manager to repair and do scheduled maintenance of all golf course equipment and Yamaha rental cart fleet

• Daily setup and adjustments of reel mowers

• Record keeping off all service and repairs

• Parts ordering and inventory

• Work on course as needed

Requirements:

• Knowledge of small engine, diesel, hydraulic, and electrical system troubleshooting and repairs

• Reel grinding , adjustment, and repair experience

• Valid driver’s license

• Able to work weekends as needed

• Individual must be self-motivated
