Equipment/Shop Manager
Full-time
- Prefer experience in maintaining turfgrass equipment but will train if supported with other mechanic experience
- Will be responsible for repairing and maintaining cutting units on a wide variety of light and heavy equipment and understanding the manufacturers guidelines for maintaining equipment
- Ability to keep accurate records and logs of parts and repairs
- Ability to keep a clean and organized work area
- Demonstrate the ability to respect and follow safety protocols
- Positive attitude towards providing additional support to maintenance team as needed
Educational Requirements
High School or GED
Certification in equipment maintenance would be a plus
Experience Requirements
- Experience with turfgrass cutting units
- Diagnostic and repair experience with hydraulic systems for light and heavy duty equipment
- Experience with sprayer and sprayer pump system repair
- Ability to weld and fabricate as needed
- Ability to grind reels, set up cutting and verticutting units, brush and groomer systems on cutting units
- Ability to service and repair all equipment within fleet
- Knowledge and experience with turf equipment operation
- Toro, Kubota, and Ez-Go fleet. Experience with other manufacturers are encouraged to apply
