Position Overview
Genesis Farms is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Account Relations Manager to support the continued growth of our sod and auxiliary product sales. This role focuses on customer relationship management, sales development, and coordination of customer orders within a fast-paced agricultural environment.
The Account Relations Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, manages existing accounts, develops new business opportunities, and helps coordinate product sales from order through fulfillment. This role works closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service and long-term customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Develop new business opportunities and expand market reach
- Serve as primary contact for customer communication, orders, and service needs
- Track sales activity and support revenue growth
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on sales opportunities
- Coordinate auxiliary product sales and recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate scheduling and order fulfillment
- Ensure customer satisfaction from order placement through delivery
- Monitor customer needs and market trends to support business growth
Compensation Structure
Base Salary
- Competitive annual base salary (commensurate with experience)
Commission – Sod Sales
- Established accounts: per-square-foot commission
- New business development: higher introductory commission rate
- New accounts transition to established rate annually
Commission – Auxiliary (Non-Sod) Sales
Tiered commission on net sales:
- 1.5% on first $50,000
- 2.0% on $50,001–$100,000
- 2.5% on $100,001–$150,000
- 3.0% on sales above $150,000
Commissions are calculated and paid according to company policy and reporting periods.

Qualifications
- Experience in sales, account management, agriculture, landscaping, construction, or related industry preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational ability
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
- Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate across departments
- Valid driver’s license
