Lawn Care Technician

We're now hiring a dependable, proactive, and knowledgeable full-time seasonal Lawn Care Technician (March–November) to help us deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a dedicated portion of our customer base—delivering timely, efficient, and high-quality service every
visit
- Apply scheduled fertilizers, control products, and supplemental treatments with precision, strictly following all state and
federal laws and regulations
- Handle accurate recordkeeping, paperwork, and documentation for treatments and client interactions
- Engage with prospective clients—assess their lawns, recommend customized action plans, and provide clear pricing
- Respond promptly to customer phone calls, emails, service requests, and on-site visits with friendly, professional support
- Keep company vehicles, equipment, and tools in peak condition, following our maintenance standards
- Step in to support Landscape Plant Care Treatments as needed (full training provided)
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Experience Requirements
- Strong skills in turfgrass identification and problem diagnosis
- Hands-on familiarity with calibrating and operating liquid and granular application equipment
- At least 18 years old
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with a clean driving record
- Current DOT Medical Certificate (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs, operate various equipment/vehicles, and work comfortably in all weather conditions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset
- Required: Current Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator's License (we're happy to support qualified candidates in obtaining or renewing it)
- Big pluses: Prior experience in the Green Industry (arborist, golf course, landscaping, sports turf, etc.) and any
mechanical/equipment repair skills
Special Requirements
Apprentice Technician Option:
If you're eager to break into the field, join us as an Apprentice! You'll train side-by-side with experienced technicians, mastering the daily responsibilities listed above. We'll guide and support you as you obtain your Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator's License—turning your enthusiasm into expertise.
