Turf Equipment Technician

Job description:

• Intake of all new equipment brought in; identify and document mechanical and cosmetic issues in need of repair.
• Accurately test, troubleshoot, and diagnose failures on hydraulic, electrical systems, and gasoline and diesel engines.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Prepare parts list for equipment needing repairs.
• Install/repair necessary parts, check fluid levels, test and assure proper operation.
• Operate and test equipment to ensure quality standards are met before unit leaves to customer.
• Performs grinding/sharpening, general overhaul of motors and reels, installs and adjusts braking systems.
• Overall shop cleanliness and organization.
