Equipment/Shop Manager

Squire Creek Country Club is a private, members only facility located in the rolling hills of north Louisiana, five miles east of Ruston. The Tom Fazio design opened in 2002 and is perennially ranked as the top golf course in Louisiana. The club features an 18-hole championship golf course and a residential community with family friendly amenities.

The Equipment Manager is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and management of all golf course maintenance equipment. This role ensures that equipment is safe, reliable, and available for daily operations while maintaining accurate service records and managing the equipment shop.  The Equipment Manager reports directly to the Director of Grounds.

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on golf course maintenance equipment including diesel, gasoline, and electric-powered machines.
• Service and maintain mowers, utility vehicles, trucks, trenchers, rollers, sweepers, and other turf equipment.
• Set up and adjust cutting units and mowing heights.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, parts inventory, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems.
• Track equipment service schedules and maintenance records.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the equipment maintenance facility.
• Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure equipment is ready for daily turf maintenance.
